Our weekly prenatal classes will help you become stronger, reduce stress, unravel tension & feel great throughout your pregnancy. You will learn to facilitate a deeper connection to yourself to remain calm & embodied. These practices will support you through the challenges of labour, birth & postpartum recovery period. Classes are on pause for July & August.
MEDITATION
MEDITATION CLASSES

A great addition to our Tuesday evening Yin classes! A 30 minute guided meditation each week prior to the Yin class. Meditation is a great compliment to your Yin practice as it helps create a calm, focused state of mind that is beneficial when dealing with the long holds involved in the Yin practice.
WALL YIN
WALL YIN WORKSHOP

Wall Yin is a series of Yin Yoga postures using the Wall as a prop to effectively increase or decrease the level of stress (tension/compression) in the target area of the particular posture. Primary emphasis are hips & spine. Wall Yin has been shown to be the most accessible Yin Yoga Class while maintaining the effectiveness of each posture. Alan will review and demonstrate approximately 40 variations of Wall Yin postures covering the major target areas of the body.

YIN LEVEL 2 IMMERSION

Anatomy is the key. Without understanding muscles & joints, true confidence in teaching Yin Yoga is elusive. We focus on the 14 joint segments, which joints are involved in our Yin postures and range of motion helping us understand why everyone practices poses differently. We then explore the 10 muscle groups involved in a Yin practice.
