MEDITATION + YIN

The first 15min of this class will be guided mindfulness/meditation, followed by 60min of Yin Yoga. Meditation/mindfulness is a great compliment to your Yin practice as it helps create a calm, focused state of mind that is beneficial when dealing with the long holds involved in the Yin practice. Meditation/mindfulness is for everyone. Meditation is not sitting on a mountain top alone for days, how is that even realistic! It can be as simple and effective as taking 15-20 minutes per week here at Metta followed by a Yin yoga practice. Yin yoga offers long, deep and supported holds to help restore your body, decompress joints and work through tension to improve mobility.
